MiM Mobs are critical part of the Make it Matter Movement. Whenever an area nonprofit has an event, MiM will make an effort to provide as many strong backs or enthusiastic hands as are available. MiM Leaders, Partners, and Professional Facilitators maintain contact with MiM Mob Members, who are also encouraged to participate with MiM in social media.
Oftentimes, MiM will bring volunteers to a planned event. They can be the extra hands nonprofits need to help an event run smoothly. Getting people together and showing them how to participate in such events are among the Leaders and Partners responsibilities and part of their training. MiM Mobs will also sometimes be a surprise, they might show up unannounced and with extra snacks at a cleanup or build. They might unexpectedly increase attendance at a charity event. Professional Facilitators will always be on the lookout for opportunities to have flash MiM Mobs.
